Payments

Before you start selling, you need to set up the preferred payment methods for your store. To do that, open the dashboard and navigate to the Payments tab.

Currently, Oxxy offers the following payment methods:

PayPal

To set up PayPal:

  1. Click Connect in the PayPal section
  2. If you have a PayPal account, click Yes and enter the email associated with this account
  3. If you don’t have an account, click No. You will be redirected to the PayPal website where you can register for an account

Supported countries: All (for more information, click here

Accepted currencies: 25 - CAD, EUR, GBP, JPY, AUD, NZD, CHF, HKD, SGD, SEK, DKK, PLN, NOK, HUF, CZK, ILS, MXN, BRL (for Brazil only), MYR (for Malaysia only), PHP, TWD, THB, RUB and USD.

Transaction fees: Vary depending on the country.

Keep in mind:

  • To receive payments through PayPal, your account need to be either Business or Premier. Click here for more information.
  • When you receive payments through PayPal, the checkout will be on their website.

Offline Payments

Setting up offline payments lets you receive payments outside of your website. You need to write instructions to your customers on how to pay their purchases (cash on delivery, wire transfer, money order, etc.).

To set up offline payments:

  1. Click Connect in the Offline payments section
  2. Enter instructions for your customers in the text box
  3. Click Activate offline payments

Keep in mind that with offline payments activated, you need to manually mark orders as paid. Click here to learn more about managing orders.
